We are the last entry in this year’s Cactus Festival Parade, which starts at the Dundas Driving Park, travels along King Street, and ends at Market and Mill St. Dress is tux pants, white tux shirt, black vest, red carnation, black shoes and socks, top hat. On Cactus Thursday, every August, the parade leaves the Dundas Driving Park at 6:45 p.m. sharp, making it’s way toward King Street where it marches through the entire downtown core of Dundas, to the delight and excitement of the thousands of children and adults, alike, who eagerly await this event that launches the annual Cactus Festival in the Valley Town.
